Shana has traveled extensively through Europe, South America, and the Caribbean. She has always enjoyed taking
photographs, though was always too busy to pursue it further than her travels. In 2004 Shana got married and she and
her husband found themselves in Dominica, a small Caribbean island in the Lesser Antilles where they lived for 2 years.
Her husband being busy in medical school, she had little to do with a lot of time on her hands. Taking long walks with
her camera filled many hours, allowing her to discover and develop her passion. The students and the local people loved
her composition, and her eye for the hidden places of Dominica, that are now displayed here at The Grapevine Wine
Shop. While on the island, Shana sold her photography to students and developed a small business where she not only
sold photographs, she took family photos, and shot weddings. After moving back to the states, she and her husband
moved to Miami, where Shana continued to sell her photography in South Beach on Lincoln Road. Now the Medicine in
her life has brought her to Janesville, Wisconsin, and she is excited to what the future holds for her art.
